SAN DIEGO LIBRARIES is a library finder app that allows the user to learn more information about the most popular libraries in San Diego, find communities, reserve rooms, and access books. The goal was to create a simple design for the app for easy use for ages 16 and up. The font and the color green were used throughout the app so it would be easy on the eyes and display the calm and cozy tone of the theme.
Design Process
This is a class assignment took about two months. After the topic and the personas was established, the top ten libraries in San Diego were chosen and pinned on the map section of the app. Online photos that were researched related to libraries were taken into consideration while choosing the fonts and colors for the theme. The photos from the moodboard is also a source of inspiration while designing the icons for the app.
Research
From on the ages 16 and up, three personas were created to focus on the different purposes of a library and the app.
